BLESSING OF THE MOTORCYCLES
Annual motorsports ‘Blessings’ for the safety and joy of all riders
With the return of warm weather comes the familiar sound of motorcycles on Massachusetts roads and country byways. At St. Paul’s Church of Palmer, this season also brings a cherished tradition: a time of prayer and blessing for riders and their journeys.

Each spring, St. Paul’s hosts its annual Blessing of the Motorcycles, a Saturday gathering that offers prayers for safety, companionship, and joy on the road and trail. The event is free and open to the public, and all riders — along with their families — are warmly invited to attend.

St. Paul’s is grateful to partner with the Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA) of Palmer, whose members join us in welcoming riders from across the region. Motorcycle and motorsports groups are invited to participate, and riders receive a small commemorative memento as part of the blessing.
As Rev. Sousa shares, “Prayer is powerful. It is an act of faith, but it is also an act of love and support when we hold one another in prayer. Each rider and each bike is blessed with prayers for safety, joy, and companionship along the journey.”

Coffee and refreshments are provided by the people of St. Paul’s, offering time for conversation and fellowship following the blessing.

Come as you are. Ride blessed.
