Unitarian Universalist
Bread & Belonging

Free Community Meal

Bread & Belonging at St. Paul’s Church is a monthly community supper that brings neighbors together around a warm, home-style meal and shared conversation. The supper is free of charge and open to everyone in the greater Palmer area.

This gathering is especially meant for those who may be feeling the pinch financially, those who are lonely or isolated, and anyone who simply wishes to share food in a welcoming, no-pressure setting. Donations are welcome for those who choose to give, but they are never expected.

Meals are served one Saturday each month from 4:30–6:00 p.m. in the parish hall at St. Paul’s Church. They are prepared in our church kitchen following ServSafe food-safety standards, with leadership from our kitchen supervisor and a team of dedicated volunteers. Menus are simple, hearty, and nourishing — the kind of meals meant to be shared.

Bread & Belonging is made possible through the generosity of community partners and volunteers, and through the spirit of hospitality that shapes this ministry. Whether you come to eat, to volunteer, or simply to sit at the table with others, this supper is about more than food — it is about making sure there is always a place at the table for you.

At this time suppers run from September through April.
